Take a deeper dive into one of the sample projects below.
One is a sample of a training that I created, and the other focuses on a systems integration.
Securing Healthcare Data
This course is part of a series designed to strengthen cybersecurity for the Healthcare and Public Health sector, providing an essential overview of key concepts to protect against cyber threats.
Digital Learning Ecosystem
This project outlines a turnkey solution that merges e-commerce and learning systems to streamline digital course distribution for a national trade education provider.
Cybersecurity Real World Scenarios: Authentication
Overview: This course was designed to translate healthcare specific cybersecurity concepts into real-world application. Specifically, it outlines the repercussions of not securing your organization, and offers alternative role-specific steps that could have been taken to prevent the breach. It also takes a traditionally...boring topic, and makes it a little more engaging for the learner.
The course includes some basic branching and conditional logic to prevent the learner from progressing until all options within certain scenes have been visited.
Software: Articulate Storyline 360, Wellsaid Labs AI Text-to-Speech.
Cybersecurity in Healthcare Video - IRP
Overview: This short video is intended to introduce the learner to the concept of Incident Response Plans and the importance of implementation within their healthcare practice. Essentially it serves as an introduction to the topic in order for the client to recommend more advanced training products.
Software: Vyond with Wellsaid Labs AI Text-to-Speech integration.
Cybersecurity Quickshot: Wiping
Overview: "Quickshots" are a series of microlearning on various cybersecurity topics specific to the healthcare industry. Designed to be 1-2 minutes in length, the premise of the series is to get your daily "quick shot" of cyber training. (Get the healthcare reference?😆)
Software: Vyond with Wellsaid Labs AI Text-to-Speech integration.
Penguin Pirate Adventure
Interactive Game
Overview: I created this fun game to showcase how Articulate Storyline's conditional features and variables can make learning interactive and unique.
Software: Articulate Storyline 360; Clipchamp for screencast video and AI Text-to-Speech.
Bingo Night With Ralphy
Overview: In this silly interactive mobile "mini-game" I demonstrate another spin on how conditional logic can be used to create an interactive game that generates learner-specific unique results every time.
The premise of the game is Grandma needs someone to take her to bingo, and she can't seem to motivate her grandson. The learner must interact with the module and help her grandson, Ralphy, get dressed so he can drive his grandmother.
Software: Articulate Storyline 360, AI Voiceover Text-To-Speech with Wellsaid Labs.
Hungry Restaurant
Overview: In this short game I showcase another iteration of using conditional logic to create a unique learner outcome, but this time using Adobe Captivate.
The learner is attending a restaurant, and needs to place an order. They complete their order by selecting various options, in the end showing their unique combination and complete dinner.
This idea can be adapted for various learning outcomes to check for understanding and track learning results.
Software: Adobe Captivate; Screencast made with Microsoft Clipchamp and AI Text-to-speech.
OptinLabs Training
Overview: This is a straight-forward tutorial/software simulation walking the learner through precise steps needed to complete a task.
The original output had an interactive knowledge check and SCORM tracking.
Software: Camtasia, Adobe Audacity
Welcome to Planview:
Geisinger Health Plan
Overview: This traditional-style software simulation was created for a healthcare client that needed to train employees how to do specific tasks within a new software that was implemented.
This simulation showcases various interactivity with on-screen instruction to mimic actually doing the tasks in the software. The provided voiceover explains greater project detail and is only for portfolio purposes. It was not part of the original training.
Software: Adobe Captivate
